A wine made with Arinto grapes grown in the vineyards of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia of the University of Lisbon, in Tapada da Ajuda, a neighborhood in the hills above the winery.

Cold pre-fermentative maceration with foot treading for 48 hours. Spontaneous fermentation and post-fermentative maceration for 3 months and, 6 months back in 200-liter clay amphorae (tarrecos), protected by a thin layer of organic extra virgin olive oil

Tasting Notes:
Colour: Yellow colour
Aroma: Delicate aromas of citrus, apricot and floral notes, with hints of dried white flowers and honey.
Palate: It presents a dense texture, yet balanced with a relatively light body. A characteristic metallic/mineral note stands out, resulting from amphora vinification.
It has excellent acidity, very lively and fresh, typical of the Arinto grape variety, ensuring a vibrant and crisp finish.
Food Pairing:
Pairs well with white meats and fish, white sauces, grilled vegetables, umami dishes, salads and pasta. It is also an excellent aperitif wine.

Adega Belém is a small urban winery located within an old car workshop in the Belém district of Lisbon. The winery specializes in premium minimal intervention wines, made from indigenous Iberian grape varieties in batches of 500 to 2500 bottles.. We advocate an artisanally sophisticated oenological approach and wines with a striking personality and an undeniable deliciousness factor.
